DESCRIPTION:Yesterday\, August 27\, 2023\, we had a unique opportunity to be a part of the unparalleled celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine “Ukrainian Independence Day in Niagara region”. Part of Burgoyne Woods Park was decorated in Ukrainian style. The houses were decorated according to the old times. Everything is decorated in our picturesque blue and yellow colors. \nThanks to the organizers of the holiday Niagara Support Ukraine and St. Marys Ukrainian Church Niagara Falls\, sponsors: Rotary Club of St. Catharines South\,  Author Theatre\, Ukrainian Baptist Niagara Church\, Olena Slyva\, Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Niagara\, St. John the Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church\, AMD for Hope\, St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Niagara Falls\, Slavuta Trade (Igor Igorchik)\, Mega Zabava\, Vasyl Dunets\, Nadiya Pasyeka\, Alekks Art and volunteers had an amazing holiday. We had the impression that\, even for a moment\, we returned home to Ukraine. After all\, our nightingale’s speech\, songs\, and performance were heard everywhere. We all had the opportunity to pay our respects to the soldiers who died in the war in Ukraine. And also to thank the mother\, sister\, grandmother for the fallen brave warrior Cole Zelenco. The holiday traditionally began with the prayer of Father Victor Nazartchyk and Romko BohJoe. Then young Cossack boys solemnly raised the flag to the national anthem of Ukraine. A moment of silence and a word from Cole Zelenco’s mother – Lynn Baxter. Prayer and words of gratitude from Yuriy Shargorodskyi\, followed by an entertainment program. Vasyl Dunets charged with positive\, upbeat mood through his original songs. The worship group Ukrainian Baptist Niagara sang an unparalleled song\, which we recommend you listen to in the video dedicated to the Celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine. The holiday\, which began at 1.30 in the afternoon\, passed very quickly. We hope to attend more than one such celebration. Our Ukraine is independent\, unbreakable and strong 💙💛 Glory to Ukraine!!! Було враження\, що хоч на мить ми повернулися додому в Україну. Адже усюди лунала наша соловʼїна мова\, пісні\, вистава. У всіх нас була можливість відати шану солдатам\, котрі полягли на війні в Україні. А також подякувати матері\, сестрі\, бабці за загиблого мужнього воїна Cole Zelenco. Свято традиційно розпочалося з молитви отця Victor Nazartchyk та Romko BohJoe. Потім юні хлопці-козаки урочисто підняли прапор під гімн України. Хвилина мовчання і слово від матері Cole Zelenco – Lynn Baxter. Молитва та слова вдячності від Юрія Шаргородського\, а дальше розважальна програма. Чудова атмосфера та настрій  проведення Свята. Alekks Art та його дочка змогли створити позитивні емоції у всіх дітлахів завдяки якісному\, красивому Аквагриму. Vasyl Dunets зарядив позитивом\, бадьорим настроєм через свої авторські пісні. Група прославлення Ukrainian Baptist Niagara заспівала неперевершену пісню\, яку рекомендуємо обовʼязково прослухати у відео присвяченому Святкуванню Дня Незалежності України. Свято\, яке розпочалося в 1.30 дня пробігло дуже швидко. Надіємося побувати ще не на одному такому святкуванню. Україна наша незалежна\, незламна і сильна 💙💛 Слава Україні!!!
